Montana Elements

What kind of Christmas traditions do you have in your family? Have you started any new ones? Here are the Montana Elements. I hope you like them. It seems kind of quiet in scrapville. As always, I'd love to know what you think.

Love this kit - really like the window... When my world is a little more sane, I will put this to use, and you will be the first to see what I do with it.

Today I start melting chocolate almond bark, and the candy factory will officially open.

Have had to go to town 2 days in a row - all day affairs, so I am happy to stay home and get busy with the Christmas decs and prep.

Thanks so much for this kit. You are amazing!

Ohhhh! Love the colors! I have to say, I've never scrapped anything with these colors but they go fab together! I'll do my best to do your kit justice. Thank you!

We have a few "ritual" Christmas things that we do (or I do anyway, LOL). Every year we go to downtown Chicago to watch the city Christmas tree being lit. This year it was extremely cold but we toughed it out. I only go into the city once a year and that's the time... then it's back on the train home, haha. THEN, it's "Dickens in Dundee". Dundee is the combination of two small towns (East and West Dundee) that all the stores "dress up" the store fronts in old-fashioned Dickens scenes. Dickens characters are walking all over with the traditional clothing and all. It's a fabulous "blast-from-the-past" day! THEN, a few days before Christmas, I MAKE FUDGE! Yep, once a year only and tons of it... it's sooo expensive... but I love giving it and making OTHERS fat, haha.

Have a great day! and thank you again

Hi my dear! I have finally made it to your blog in my long list of wonderful designers! I am ALMOST caught up! I always love your stuff! I am still trying to get caught up so I hope you don't feel bad that I won't leave a comment on each one. Just know I think you are great and so is your work!

As for my Christmas traditions. On Christmas eve we go to the candlelight service at the Presbyterian church, although we are not presbyterian my grandmother was and we always went as kids and then to her house to play games after. So we have kept that part of the tradition and go to a candlelight service at the presbyterian church each Christmas eve. Then after we go look at all the Christmas lights/decorations we can find! hehehe When we finally get home we open one gift, our Christmas pajamas. Then off to bed. The only real Christmas day tradition is that I usually make a breakfast casserole that cooks while we are opening gifts.

Anyway, I hope all is going well with you and that you will have a wonderful holiday season! Talk to you again soon!

Eila: May I place an order at the Candy Factory? It sounds yummy!

Kris G: The "Dickens in Dundee" is right up my alley! I love to see people dressed up in period costumes. Did you say FUDGE? I'm there! (chocoholic speaking now).

Michele: It's so good to hear from you. Welcome back. Oh, Christmas PJ's sound so cozy! When I lived in San Diego, we used to go see particular streets that were always decorated to the hilt! Fun stuff!

Thank you all for commenting. I do read each and every one of them.
Merry Christmas! Barbara

Hi Barbara, I'm collecting some of your past kits that I didn't collect before. I love your work so well and have a special file folder designated for just your work. Now, I want to fill it up. Looks like it might take awhile *LOL*. You are such a wonderful person to share these beautiful kits with all of us. As always, thank you so much and leaving you some love.
