Jeweltone Elements

One of the things I really think is neat with this blog stuff is if someone leaves you a comment (and their blog address) you can go step inside "their house" and "visit" with them (providing that it is an open house and not private). I have been to quite a few "houses" getting to know you. Some of you (and you know who you are) I really feel like I know you . . . even though I've never met you personally. Kinda cool, huh? Does anyone else feel this way?

Here are the elements to the Jeweltone kit. I hope you can find a use for them in your scrapbooking adventures. Thanks for leaving me a comment. I do read each and every one of them.

P.S. It's Elvis' birthday today. I know you really wanted to know that bit of trivia today!

Good Morning Barbara - although you are headed for afternoon.

I know just what you mean about meeting people. I don't feel the need to have a hundred blog friends... I appreciate positive comments... but then I have not created anything to give away at this point. Hopefully that day is not too far away... Sometimes I get overwhelmed with the things I need to do vs the things I want to do... and don't know where to start.

I have met a few wonerful people - you included. For that I feel truly blessed. I don't post as often as I should, I know, but I love hearing from y'all when I do.

Thanks for being so caring.

I did not know it is Elvis' Birthday - but I do remember exactly what I was doing when we got the news that he had died - on August 16, 1977. And I remember them playing "I Can't Help Falling in Love With You" while my sis and I were headed to a softball game. I was 16. Funny the things you remember. I think that is why scrapping is so important... it is about telling the story in a beautiful creative way... as a gift to pass along. We have so many old family photos, and if someone (me) doesn't put it all together, the history will be lost.

OK... Now I am babbling - so I will say ~ Have a super fantasic day!!! ~ and be on my way.

Thanks for sharing your kits - and thanks for the info on the layouts.

BIG hugs,

eila

Thank you, I love the bold colors, and the effects of its. Funny, I asked my brother that this morning about Elvis. MY mother's birthday was two days ago and that how I remember it. Oh by the way, I feel the same way as you do about the blog thing. YOU ever wondered how peaople can relates. Just like Dorothy feel about her new friends in Oz in The Wizard of OZ. Take care. Nancy

First thank you for another wonderful addition to your kit. Such beautiful colors and pieces!

Next... I love to visit "other houses"! Since I'm pretty much a shut-in... panic attacks keep me housebound a lot... this is my way of "getting out of the house". I don't get many visitors on my blog... at least not that leave comments (not even my parents or kids) so I just flit around the world, wheeeeeeeeee! Thanks for sharing pieces of you... love reading (and of course snagging your beauties, hehe). HUGS

Hey Barbara, I have Elvis' BD on my calendar (on my cell phone) WITH an alarm to remind me that plays Hound Dog. So, we must be livin' in the same "neighBLOGhood" you and I. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful work.

Barbara, thanks again!!!

I lost you for a bit as my site had issues when I changed format and I lost all my blog list links. So you were no where to be found. Luckily I just remembered that when you came to my "house" you commented, I went there and now...here I am, I have found you again and put you back on my side bar. That comment saved our relationship.

Thank you for another set of gorgeous elements!!

I remember what great "Elvis" fans my girlfriend and I were way back when . . . I think we had every album he recorded and never missed seeing any of his movies; we went mainly to hear him sing all his great songs!
Now, I can't recall the last time I actually listen to one of his songs.

Thanks so much for sharing all your work, love the lace ribbon in the preview, have not opened the file yet. Now to find a great photo to use all these goodies with. There isn't much on my blog at the moment, just started but feel free to stop by anytime

I love the elements first off! They go wonderfully with the papers!

Also I know exactly what you mean, when someone comes by and comments often and then doesn't for awhile I wonder what happened to them, are they okay? And yet I don't "Know" any of them! lol :-) Kindof cool the world we live in now.
